Barbecued Halibut or Salmon

 

 

You can smell this in the air when you visit Ketchikan, Alaska on a summer day.

bball.gif (926 bytes) 1 1/2 lbs. fresh halibut or salmon fillets
bball.gif (926 bytes) Johnny's Seafood Seasoning or your favorite fish seasoning
bball.gif (926 bytes) 12 pieces of bacon
bball.gif (926 bytes) 1 large onion, sliced
bball.gif (926 bytes) 2 lemons, sliced thin
bball.gif (926 bytes) Heavy duty aluminum foil

Lay out 6 sheets of aluminum foil.  On each sheet place a serving size piece of fish, sprinkled with seasonings, covered with 2 pieces of bacon, onion and lemon slices.  Fold edges to seal foil in to packets.  Barbecue approximately 15 minutes (or longer depending on how thick the fillets are).
