Brown Sugar Pie

Miss Diane gave me this great southern recipe. She served this incredible dessert one
evening at her home here in Ketchikan and I swear, when I die I hope I'm eating this pie.
Miss Diane and family moved back to the South and we miss them so much....

bball.gif (926 bytes) 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
bball.gif (926 bytes) 1 egg, slightly beaten
bball.gif (926 bytes) 1 tsp. vanilla
bball.gif (926 bytes) 2 heaping tablespoons flour
bball.gif (926 bytes) 3 TBS milk
bball.gif (926 bytes) 2 TBS melted butter
bball.gif (926 bytes) 4 oz. chocolate chips
bball.gif (926 bytes) 1 prepared pastry pie shell

Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Mix on medium
speed for two minutes. Add chocolate chips and stir. Pour the mixture into the pie shell
and bake for 35 minutes or until lightly browned and set. Remove from oven and let cool.
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
